Essential storage
Certenticat uses essential cookies or browser storage to keep users signed in, protect sessions, remember interface preferences, route authenticated users, and keep the dashboard usable.
The web app may store authentication tokens, selected bridge settings, dashboard state, and temporary workflow state in browser storage where needed for operation.
NFC and desktop preferences
Reader URLs, bridge settings, local web app URLs, and recent session state may be saved locally to avoid repeated setup. These settings are device-specific and should not contain passwords, seeds, or private keys.
Clearing browser data can remove saved settings and may require reconnecting the desktop bridge or signing in again.
Analytics and diagnostics
Certenticat may use privacy-conscious analytics or diagnostics to understand performance, errors, usage patterns, and service reliability. Where optional non-essential cookies are introduced, the site should provide an appropriate consent or preference flow.
Operational logs used for security, abuse prevention, and debugging are separate from marketing cookies and may be processed where necessary to protect the service.
Managing cookies
You can control cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Blocking essential storage can prevent login, dashboard access, NFC bridge workflows, and customer tools from working correctly.
For shared devices, sign out after use and clear site data if the browser is not under your control.
